Joseph and good friend Roger Pugliese started Topanga Canyon Trash Warriors in 2012. Joseph was inspired by the practice of umuganda in Rwanda, and what started as litter clean up on his neighborhood walks, turned into a joyful team of citizens that keep Topanga’s main street and highway clean..
